My name is Isabela Ellenwood and I’m a program analyst in the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institutes on Drug Abuse (NIDA), Office of Research Training, Diversity, and Disparities (ORTDD). We would like to share an exciting opportunity with your institution! The 2025 NIDA Diversity Scholars Network (NDSN) program<https://nida.nih.gov/about-nida/organization/offices/office-nida-director-od/office-research-training-diversity-disparities-ortdd/office-diversity-health-disparities-odhd/nida-diversity-scholars-network-ndsn> application period is now open!

NIDA is seeking applications from scholars interested in conducting substance use and addiction research.  While the program is open to all, the NDSN program is a grant-writing program aimed at enhancing the funding success of early-stage investigators. We strongly encourage applications from investigators whose research goals and background align with the Notice of NIH's Interest in Diversity<https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-OD-20-031.html>. The program consists of three workshops and culminates in a mock review meeting experience. Please share this opportunity with anyone you think might be interested.
