2024 New Haven Science Fair Mentor Program

Pathways is looking for science enthusiasts (no experience needed) to help support K-12 New Haven public school students with their science fair projects.

The Science Fair Mentor Program aims 1) to foster creativity, curiosity, and scientific exploration among young students and 2) to foster an environment where K-12 students feel valued, celebrated, and represented as youth scientists.

We hope you volunteer with us, as your skills and time are essential to our success.

Volunteer as a Mentor: work at a New Haven Public School to help K-12 students develop a science project. Volunteer for 1-2 hours per week, March through April. ** We have several openings! **

Volunteer as a Judge: evaluate student projects during the New Haven Science Fair on Monday, May 20th, and Tuesday, May 21st.
