Hi all,

I wanted to share a resource you may find helpful. I’m on the board of the Life Science Editors Foundation<https://lifescienceeditors.org/>, which provides free grant/publication writing assistance services to researchers/academics facing unfair obstacles to career progression, including but not limited to barriers based on gender, race, ethnicity, caregiving responsibilities, illness, ability, sexual orientation, low socioeconomic background, as well as people in a low or lower middle income country. https://lifescienceeditors.org/apply/

They have a quarterly call for applications to receive editing assistance and the next one is this Sunday, March 10. The application is very easy. They give priority to junior faculty but have also worked with postdocs and trainees in the past. There are also follow-on awards alumni are eligible for.

Best,

Giovanna
