Hello PEB,

I am excited to share that we are partnering with the Department of Cell Biology to bring you a workshop about how to use Illustrator to make your scientific figures, presented by Ashley Monahan, a scientist, artist, and founder of SciComm Consulting LLC. This two-part Zoom workshop will take place on Friday, 3/22 and Tuesday, 3/26 from 3-5PM. Zoom link: https://yale.zoom.us/j/92943157674

In Part I, you will learn about some of the basics of Illustrator when making cartoons and adding data panels such as graphs or images to your figure. This will include information about basic features and functions of Illustrators as well as hotkeys that can save you time! You will then have the chance to practice your skills at home and in Part II, Ashley will answer any questions you had while working on the practice figures and will provide additional advice based on participant’s interests.
