Hello,

To give you a brief introduction, postgraduate research associates are short term trainees who hold a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree and seek research experience prior to graduate/medical school and/or industry careers. The YPGA is an assemblance of postgraduate research associates who work to strengthen our community by delivering opportunities for professional and personal development to all postgraduate research associates.

YPGA is excited to announce the return of MAPS (Mentorship and Professional Support for Postgraduates)! Through this mentorship program, they aim to connect postgraduate research associate trainees with mentors from the graduate and medical school, including students & postdoctoral associates-fellows. Last year, they successfully launched the program through a Speed Networking Mixer and matched 38 pairs of mentors/mentees. This event is set to return on Thursday, June 13th and they are currently recruiting mentors!
