Dear Yale colleagues,

The Kavli Institute for Neuroscience at Yale is inviting you to attend the 2024 Kavli workshop on New Approaches for Computational Neuroscience on Tuesday, November 12th, 2024, from 1 to 6 pm (1116, 100 College St), organized by James Jeanne, PhD, and Anirvan Nandy, PhD.

The workshop will feature the work of Yale researchers on the computational principles of neuronal function in the brain, across invertebrate and vertebrate systems, and a keynote lecture from Alex Wiltschko, PhD (Osmo<https://www.osmo.ai/>) will outline how new techniques such as artificial intelligence and machine learning are opening up new avenues for understanding the high dimensional complexity of real neural networks.
