[WTI-trainee] APHINE Charles Taylor Panel Discussion September 10th, 10 AM

We are thrilled to announce an upcoming philosophy talk with the
distinguished philosopher Charles Taylor, Professor Emeritus at McGill
University and a Fellow at All Souls College, University of Oxford.
Renowned for his examination of the modern self, Professor Taylor has
produced a significant and influential body of work. He has been honored
with numerous prestigious awards, including the 2016 Berggruen Prize, which
recognized him as a 'thinker whose ideas profoundly shape our understanding
of humanity and contribute to human advancement.' He will discuss his
latest book, *Cosmic Connections, *the long-awaited follow-up to The
Language Animal, which expands on his theory of language.

The discussion will also feature professors Paul Franks, Stephen Darwall,
Laurie Paul, and Joshua Knobe from the philosophy department.
