[WTI-trainee] WTI SPPC Outreach Opportunity - Neuroscience and Cognition Bootcamp

[Wu Tsai Institute Student and Postdoc Committee]

Hi all,

Interested in outreach? We are looking for volunteers to help us run our upcoming Neuroscience and Cognition Bootcamp for public high school students from the New Haven area.

The bootcamp will take place April 14th to 16th from 9:00AM to 3:00PM each day. Additionally, there will be a brief orientation on April 11th from 12:30PM to 3:00PM. There are multiple ways to contribute and help us run this event with varying time commitments.

Anyone is welcome to help (no expertise or specific Yale affiliations required), volunteers can:

  *   Mentor student research projects
  *   Present their research to students
  *   Talk about their college experience
  *   Offer to host a lab rotation (please discuss with PI)

The trainee-led WTI SPPC provides opportunities for current Yale trainees to pursue interdisciplinary research interests, professional development, and leadership service. Students and postdoctoral researchers at Yale are encouraged to join the SPPC to contribute to initiatives, policies, projects, and programming that benefit the entire Wu Tsai Community.
