Dear Colleagues,

The Simons Foundation’s Autism & Neuroscience division is pleased to announce the Fellows-to-Faculty Award request for applications<https://simonsfoundation.us14.list-manage.com/track/click?u=d61c0c0848c2c8c5ed6d4484b&id=3d6c663763&e=fa6e10e0a2> (RFA) is now open. The program supports talented early-career scientists by facilitating their transition into tenure-track faculty positions. We offer the program to nurture new talent and to broaden the community of scientists contributing to the scientific missions of our programs.

For the 2026 RFA, we are accepting proposals through:

  *   Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative (SFARI)<https://simonsfoundation.us14.list-manage.com/track/click?u=d61c0c0848c2c8c5ed6d4484b&id=ab12bd6ece&e=fa6e10e0a2>
  *   Simons Collaboration on Plasticity and the Aging Brain (SCPAB)<https://simonsfoundation.us14.list-manage.com/track/click?u=d61c0c0848c2c8c5ed6d4484b&id=6eff26c1fe&e=fa6e10e0a2>

Awardees receive funding toward the end of their postdoctoral career and a commitment of a $600,000 USD faculty research grant. Fellows may activate awards at research institutions within or outside of the United States.

This RFA is intended for Ph.D.- and/or M.D.-holding scientists currently in mentored research training positions who intend to seek tenure-track research faculty positions during the upcoming academic job cycle. We welcome applications from scientists with a previous background in these mission areas and those newly applying their expertise to these areas.

Additionally, we are introducing two unique tracks. All applicants will be considered for the General Track for SFARI and/or SCPAB, as indicated in their application. New this year, applicants may also choose to be considered for either the Computational Scientist Track or the Clinical Scientist Track.
