We are delighted to host Professor *Brice Kuhl *as the invited speaker for
the Neuroscience Current Works Seminar this *Monday, October 6th at
4pm* in *Room
180A, 100 College St*.

*Talk Title: Disentangling the neural mechanisms that encode overlapping
experiences.*
Professor Kuhl will present recent human fMRI studies from his lab which
elucidate how the hippocampus encodes memories for overlapping experiences.
In particular, his work shows that the hippocampus dramatically
differentiates neural codes specifically when the potential for memory
interference is high. He will discuss why and when this occurs and how
these findings challenge existing theories.
