are starting a visualization club. The club will begin on October 10, at

Are you interested in *3D interactive visualization and AR/VR
technologies? *We are forming a *Multimodal Visualization Club* for
students and professionals who want to learn about and build cutting-edge
data visualization software. The club is run by *The Center for
Neurocomputation and Machine Intelligence*
<https://wti.yale.edu/research/neurocomputation>. Anyone in the Wu Tasi
Institute <https://wti.yale.edu/> and Yale communities is welcome to join.


Our focus is on *3D interactive visualization and AR/VR technologies*,
where we design immersive ways to explore varied, heterogeneous research
data. Along the way, members will be introduced to the disciplines that
power our collaborative real-time visualization platform, *VISY*—including
networking, compilers, computer graphics, systems design, and interaction
models. Together, we'll learn how to use both industry-leading and
open-source tools such as Unreal Engine, Unity Engine, Godot Engine, and
Blender.


Whether your background is in computer science, data-driven research, or
creative design, this is a chance to collaborate, learn, and help shape the
direction of a new initiative.
