Dear all,
We’re excited to launch our next journal club theme: “Theoretical
Multiplicity in Neuroscience.” We’ll open this block with the paper “On the
Role of Theory and Modeling in Neuroscience.” We’re also thrilled to share
that the paper’s first author, Professor Daniel Levenstein, has kindly
agreed to join us for the discussion.
*About the Theme*: Theoretical multiplicity is the view that no single,
unified theory can explain all aspects of the brain and its functions.
Instead, a fuller understanding requires multiple theoretical frameworks
operating across different levels of analysis and scales.
*Reading*: On the Role of Theory and Modeling in Neuroscience.

*When:* Wednesday, October 29, 5:30 PM
*Where:* 100 College, 11th floor, Room 1135
