We are delighted to host Professor *Ignacio Saez *as our next
invited speaker for the Current Works in Human Neuroscience Seminar on *Monday,
November 3rd, at 4 pm* in *Room 180A at 100 College Street*. Light
refreshments will be served.

*Talk Title: Intracranial recording and modulation of human decision-making
behavior.*
Human cognition and behavior arise from the interaction of multiple brain
areas and neurotransmitter systems, which are difficult to study directly
in the human brain. Intracranial electrophysiology recordings in
neurosurgical patients provide a unique opportunity to study human neural
activity with great neurophysiological detail, temporal resolution, and
anatomical accuracy. Professor Saez will present recent results from the
lab leveraging these methods to study the neurobiological basis of human
decision-making behavior.
