[WTI-trainee] Mentorship Opportunity - Seeds of Success Program

 Seeds of Success<https://ciencia.yale.edu/programs/seeds-success> is an inspiring NIH-funded STEM initiative that highlights the important role of women in science and encourages local middle school students to explore careers in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medicine (STEMM). We are currently seeking volunteer mentors<https://yalesurvey.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_em8WqqRde4bxhcO>.
What? Seeds of Success<https://ciencia.yale.edu/programs/seeds-success> runs from December 2025 to May 2026, and the time commitment is ~4-5 hrs per month. Mentors share their passion for science and trajectories, support hands-on STEMM activities, and foster student confidence, leadership, and curiosity by mentoring students to become STEM Ambassadors who positively impact their communities through outreach projects. Training is provided.
Who? We welcome STEMM undergraduate students (juniors or higher, or with at least one year of research experience), graduate students, or postdocs to apply. We are particularly interested in Spanish and Pashto speakers. Mentors must be committed to celebrating and elevating the role of women in STEMM.
