Hi Kirstin and M.E,
A wonderful student in my lab has organized a conference that I think folks would be interested in - could you forward the below blurb and flyer to INP students and faculty. Thank you!
We are pleased to invite you to the Yale Music, Memory & Aging Symposium, a campus-wide event highlighting emerging research at the intersection of music, cognition, and aging. As interest in these topics continues to grow at Yale, this symposium aims to showcase the work of trainees and faculty engaged in this area while fostering connection across schools and with the broader community.
The symposium will take place on Thursday, January 29th, from 3:00–6:00 p.m. in the Anlyan Center Auditorium.
The program will open with remarks from Dr. Joan Monin (Yale School of Public Health), Dr. Carolyn Fredericks (Yale School of Medicine), Dr. Judy Lichtman (Yale School of Public Health), and Dr. Azita Emami (Yale School of Nursing).
Featured talks will follow from Dr. Jody Sharninghausen and Daniel Palese, Dr. AZA Allsop (Yale Department of Psychology), Dr. Edward Large (University of Connecticut, Departments of Psychological Sciences and Physics), and John-Morgan Bush (The Juilliard School). The afternoon will conclude with a musical performance and a poster session.
We hope you will join us for an afternoon of interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration.
Best,
Maya Agdali
