The Wu Tsai Institute invites you to join us for a presentation from The Transmitter<https://www.thetransmitter.org/>, a neuroscience news publication that is dedicated to helping scientists at all career stages stay current and build connections.

After the presentation, meet editor Francisco Rivera Rosario and community builder Paige Miranda to learn more about opportunities and online resources available. Rosaria and Miranda will also discuss their unique career paths and how they navigated leaving academia to enter the world of science journalism.

Attendees may also sign up for 15-minute one-on-one meetings<https://calendly.com/liz-knapp_wti/office-hours-the-transmitter?month=2026-03> with Francisco Rivera Rosario and Paige Miranda. These sessions offer an opportunity to discuss potential story ideas, op-eds, or articles with Rivera Rosario, and to explore event promotion, community building, and partnership strategies with Miranda.
