Hi Liz,

Please can you circulate this announcement to trainees?
Is there a slack place for this kind of announcement?

Kia

Subject: Assistance Requested: SfN Peer Review Webinar
Hi All,

We’re hoping you might help spread the word about our next webinar in the SfN publishing series<https://neuronline.sfn.org/collection/advancing-early-career-neuroscientists-in-publishing> (co-sponsored by Elsevier), which covers topics related to publishing aimed at early career researchers. Our first in the series this year is next week on March 17 at 12 pm EDT. “The Benefits of Peer Review<https://neuronline.sfn.org/professional-development/the-benefits-of-peer-review>” features Laura Colgin discussing what serving as a reviewer adds personally beyond the service to the field. It seems like an important perspective not talked about enough!

You are all welcome to join and add in your own perspective during the Q&A, but if you would also share within your networks to help us reach more students and post docs. We’d appreciate the extra promotion to this event!

Registration to this is free to everyone: https://neuronline.sfn.org/professional-development/the-benefits-of-peer-review

Best,
