Sharing these opportunities in case they are of interest. SACNAS is the premier national scientific organization focused on providing professional development, mentoring, and networking for students from all backgrounds interested in STEM.
As PhD students and postdocs, involvement in SACNAS can provide you with a supportive community of mentors and role models, career advancement opportunities, and the chance to mentor younger students interested in scientific careers. In addition to travel fellowships, since Yale always brings several booths to the conference, your department might also have travel funds available to represent PhD programs.
