Teaching Evaluations Are Undermining Academic Integrity

AsThe Chronicle reported in 2024, “A meta-analysis found little to no correlation between how highly students rate their instructor and how well they have learned the subject.” Other research showed "Instructors who challenged students more often received lower evaluations — even though their students performed better in subsequent courses."
