The Palimpsest Launch at the Yale Bookstore will take place on 
Wednesday, April 28th (not Wednesday the 26th as previously reported).

Palimpsest Launch at the Yale Bookstore: Come hear contributors from 
Palimpsest: Yale Literary and Arts Magazine read/speak/sing/discuss 
their work at the Yale Bookstore on Wednesday, April 28th at 6:00pm on 
the mezzanine level. Palimpsest is one of the first graduate literary 
and arts magazines in the country. The magazine is published every 
spring and aims to reinvent the form of the magazine as well as push 
the boundaries of artistic experimentation. It includes a book, a music 
cd, a video art dvd, and a postcard, all bound between letterpressed 
covers. Copies of the first and second issues of the magazine will be 
for sale at the Bookstore for $15 per copy. 

1. Joel Hanisek, Divinity School ‘06 
Joel will be reading "Coming Home," a poem from the spring 2004 issue 

2. Lara Allen, School of Art (Painting) ‘05 
Lara will sing and play guitar for her song, "I’m Gonna Kill Myself," a 
track on the Palimpsest music cd 

3. Adam Helms, School of Art (Painting) ‘04 
Adam will bring the original painting of an image that appears in the 
magazine, “NFA Member,” and will briefly discuss it 

4. Ain Cocke, School of Art (Painting) ‘04 
Ain will bring the original painting of an image that appears in the 
magazine, "Representation Painting #1," and will briefly discuss it 

5. Rebecca Reider, School of Forestry ‘05 
Rebecca will be reading "Dressing Room," a poem from the spring 2004 
issue 

6. Edward De Barbieri, Divinity School ‘05 
Ted will be reading "The Dream of My Pale Love," a short story from the 
spring 2004 issue
