WORD of MOUTH, the monthly reading series @ ARTS + LITERATURE LABORATORY 
invites the public to a reading with Connecticut poet Nancy Kuhl.

Friday, August 20th at 7pm

Nancy Kuhl's chapbook, In the Arbor, was winner of the Wick Poetry Chapbook 
Prize and was published by Kent State University Press. Her work has 
appeared or is forthcoming in Verse, Fence, Phoebe, The Connecticut Review, 
Puerto del Sol, Cream City Review, The Journal, and other magazines. Her 
manuscript, The Wife of the Left Hand, was a finalist for this year's 
National Poetry Series book contest and is currently a finalist for the 
Verse Prize from Verse Press and the Tupelo Press First Book Award. She is 
co-editor of Phylum Press, an independent publisher of innovative poetry.

As usual, an open mic will start the evening (come a little early to sign up).
