Please join us for a poetry reading by C. D. Wright and Forrest Gander on
Tuesday, February 3 at 4 pm at the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript
Library, 121 Wall Street. A reception will follow; this event is free and

C. D. Wright is the author of more than ten books of poetry. She has
received fellowships and grants from the National Endowment for the Arts,
the Guggenheim Foundation, the Lannan Foundation, the Lila Wallace-Reader's
Digest Foundation, and the Bunting Institute. She is a Professor at Brown

Forrest Ganders six books of poetry include Torn Awake (2001) and Science
& Steepleflower. He is the editor of Mouth to Mouth: 12 Contemporary
Mexican Women Poets (1993) and a translator of the work of Pura López
Colomé and Jaime Saenz. His awards include two Gertrude Stein Awards for
Innovative Writing. Gander is Director of the Graduate Program in Literary
Arts and Creative Writing at Brown University. For information about and
