The Bianca M. Finzi-Contini Calabresi Lecture:  W. S. Merwin to speak at 
Whitney Humanities Center

Renowned poet, translator, and memoirist W. S. Merwin will speak at the 
Whitney Humanities Center on Thursday, April 20, 2006, at 4:30 p.m. “On 
Romance,” a conversation with Mr. Merwin to be led by WHC director María 
Rosa Menocal, will serve as this year’s Finzi-Contini Lecture. The event 
will take place in the WHC auditorium at 53 Wall Street. A reception will 
follow in Room 108. The talk is free and open to the public.
