Suzanne Frischkorn & Margot Schilpp Poetry Reading at Yale Bookstore, November 20, 2008, 6 pm

In addition to her first book, Lit Windowpane, Suzanne Frischkorn is the author of several chapbooks most recently: American Flamingo (MiPOesias Press, 2008) Spring Tide, (Aldrich Museum, 2005) and Red Paper Flower, (Little Poem Press, 2004). Her poems appear in numerous literary journals and anthologies includingEcotone, Indiana Review, MARGIE, Poet Lore, andConversation Pieces: Poems that Talk to Other Poems, part of the Everyman's Library Pocket Series. She is the recipient of the Aldrich Poetry Award, and an Artist Fellowship from the Connecticut Commission on Culture & Tourism.

Margot Schilpp is the author of two collections of poetry, Laws of My Nature (2005) and The World's Last Night (2001), both published by Carnegie Mellon University Press. Her work has appeared widely in journals, including in American Poetry Review, The Southern Review, The Gettysburg Review, POOL, Hotel Amerika, Denver Quarterly, and her work has been featured on Poetry Daily and Verse Daily. She has been granted residencies at Yaddo, the MacDowell Colony, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts and at the Fundación Valparaíso in Spain. She is at work completing a third collection of poems, Civil Twilight.
