Marlon James
Book of Night: A Reading
Sunday, February 24th at 4PM
Labyrinth Books, New Haven
Please join us for a reading by acclaimed novelist Marlon James.
"Writing in the spirit of Toni Morrison and Alice Walker but in a style all his own, James has conducted an experiment in how to write the unspeakable -- even the unthinkable. And the results of this experiment are an undeniable success." -- Kaiama Glover, NYT Book Review
Marlon James is a finalist for this year's National Book Critics Circle Award and a nominee for the NAACP's Image Award in Literature. He was born in Jamaica in 1070. His first novel, John Crow's Devil, was short listed for the Commonwealth Writers' Prize and was a finalist for the LA Times Book Prize.
This event is free and open to the public.
It is a collaboration with Real Art Ways:
