Charles Hartman is Poet in Residence at Conn College.  His poems have been published in dozens of magazines, including The New Yorker, Poetry, Carolina Quarterly, Poetry Northwest, Poetry Now, Antioch Review, Ploughshares, Yale Review, and TriQuarterly.   He has also published numerous books of poetry, including New and Selected Poems (Ahsahta Press, 2008), as well as books on his other passions, music and computers.  He is co-founder of the Contemporary American Poetry Archive (CAPA), where out-of-print volumes of poetry are preserved on-line.  Charles also works on turning the writing of poetry into a multimedia experience.  He has created a series of computer programs that contribute to the writing and inspiration of poetry. On the third Thursday of each month, The Poetry Institute Poetry Series celebrates an eclectic mix of poetic voices.  Free.  Refreshments.  Open mic.  Outstanding featured readers.  In a casual setting.   Open to all.
