Anne Fadiman will read from the 15th-anniversary edition of The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down, her account of a crosscultural impasse between a family of Hmong refugees and their American doctors. This new edition contains an afterword with updates on the book's characters and the author's reflections on how the book changed her.
