Eduardo C. Corral is a CantoMundo fellow. His work has appeared in Best American Poetry 2012, New England Review, Ploughshares, and Poetry. Slow Lightning, his first book, won the 2011 Yale Series of Younger Poets competition. He's the recipient of a Whiting Writers' Award and a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship.
Lauren Shapiro is the author of Easy Math, a poetry collection that won the 2011 Kathryn A. Morton Prize, judged by Marie Howe, and was recently published by Sarabande Books. She is also the author of a chapbook of poems, Yo-Yo Logic, published by DIAGRAM/New Michigan Press. She is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of English at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.
