[Yale-readings] April 19: Chilean poet and novelist Alejandro Zambra

The Yale Department of Spanish and Portuguese is sponsoring the visit to Yale on Tuesday, April 19, of the noted Chilean poet and novelist Alejandro Zambra,who will give a reading in Spanish and English of selections from his work and will discuss them with the audience, also on April 19 at 4 pm in the German Department Lounge. See the attached flyer for additional information.

Mr. Zambra, whose stories have been featured in The New Yorker and the Paris Review, among others, is currently Chile's most popular and beloved novelist, with his canny short novels Bonsai (2006), The Private Life of Trees (2007), and Ways of Going Home (2011). Mr. Zambra is in the faculty of the School of Creative Writing of the Universidad Diego Portales in Chile.
