Daughter, Daedalus Reading & Book Signing with Poet Alison Moncrief Bromage
Alison Moncrief Bromage will read from her debut collection of poems Daughter, Daedalus on Thursday, December 8th at 7pm. Daughter, Daedalus won the 2016 T.S. Eliot Prize for Poetry, a national award given out by Truman State University Press for the best-unpublished book-length collection of poetry in English.
Comprised of poems as letters to the mythical inventor Daedalus and a daughter character, Daughter, Daedalus details themes of mothering and the soul.
Join Alison to talk poetry and mingle for the first hour, then enjoy her reading and a Q&A and book signing to follow. $5 suggested donation for refreshments and hors d'oeuvres.
