Carina del Valle Schorske is a Contributing Writer to the New York Times Magazine, for which she has written about post-pandemic dance floors, leaving therapy, and Bad Bunny. Her forthcoming book, The Other Island, is an exploration of empire, migration, and the transmission of culture in Puerto Rico. The winner of a National Magazine Award, she lives and works between Brooklyn and Puerto Rico.
