This week we will learn about the mysteries of the Bernstein-von Mises theorem
for normal approximation of posterior distributions. Dana and Natalie will explain the key ideas.
Along the way we will learn about LAN, contiguity, and some interesting facts about the effect on posteriors
of changes in the prior. We will not learn about DQM or about the Han attempts to
defeat the Xiongnu nomads of the northern steppe. It is also doubtful that the Egiin Gol River will
play any role in the argument.
