Folks,

This week Anderson will give the second part of his talk on  the
convergence of the iterative algorithm of mean field variational
inference method. He will explain why the iterative algorithm (Batch
Coordinate Ascent Variational Inference) has linear convergence and
reaches the minimax optimal rate within log n iterations.
