Folks,
As there were no volunteers I'll speak again, just to stop the YPNG space from collapsing.
This week I'll talk about another of the Secrets of the Probability Elves: Why does the function
h(y)=(1+y)log(1+y)-y and its cousin psi_{Benn}(y) = 2h(y)/y^2 turn up in so many probability calculations?
Place: 24 Hillhouse classroom
Time: 11:00 - 12:00 + epsilon, where 0\le epsilon \le 1
ps. Next week Zhou will explain how to free the probabilities.
