Ellen--
I didn't realize that C&T staff were searching the RLIN authority files.
When is this done exactly? The current C&T authority workflow says:
"Consult a catalog librarian, or your supervisor, if there is no
authority record in either Orbis or LCDB" [for the heading being validated].
Are some C&T staff being instructed to search beyond this?
Anyone may respond by the way. I'm interested in knowing more.
