I just noticed that the "news" section of the home page for the LC/NACO 
Authority File has two links that lead to updated information on searching 
the authority files:

(This is a note about how heading conflicts display)

The updates were apparently posted May 31st (though I don't recall 
receiving anything from RLG about it).
