Subject: [PCCLIST] Delay in adding non-Latin script data to NACO records

Dear PCC folks (feel free to forward as appropriate),

Although we had hoped to get started with non-Latin script data in name authority records in June, the start date will be delayed at least until mid-July (we'll announce the exact data in early July) due to some technical issues at the Library of Congress. If you haven't already visited the general information Web page for the project (see http://www.loc.gov/catdir/cpso/nonlatingeneral.html ), please take time to review the FAQ, White Paper, and the *newly posted* revisions to the Library of Congress Rule Interpretations (LCRIs) and blue and yellow pages familiar to NACO participants. More information will be posted in the coming weeks.

With apologies for the delay,
Dave Reser
