Hi everyone,

Tomorrow is a big day-- the second RDA in NACO webinar for all of you.

We have a big group, too.

I'll be a facilitator for the webinar, and Robert Maxwell, Brigham Young University, will also be a facilitator. Robert was an RDA tester and is an RDA cataloger -- and he knows a lot more about RDA than most people I know. So we are in very good hands.

Jessalyn Zoom, from the PCC Secretariat, will be a third facilitator.

I have a request to those of you with a large number of participants:

We'll be using GoToMeeting again for tomorrow's webinar, and GoToMeeting has a webinar limit of 25 persons. Looking at my roster, it appears that we might have almost twice that number of individual participants.

But GoToMeeting bases the 25 person limit on login ports, not on actual participants. So in the case of UCSD, with 5-10 participants, I know Ryan is using one login. That is great. Book Wholesalers, with up to 9 participants, is doing the same thing. Wonderful.

So if you have a large number of participants tomorrow, and you can all gather together in one room and share the login port, that would be great. Actually, we are right on the line now and things should be ok, so this is just a heads-up.

What I might need to do, based on the large number of participants, is mute everyone except the facilitators. If you have a question, we can un-mute you. Hopefully this will avoid the echo and the extraneous sounds we heard last week.

Please send me any questions you might have for tomorrow. But I would like to spend a minimum of time on questions in favor of more time on exercises and on looking at records in Connexion. We have a lot of good examples there.

Let's keep the time to 90 minutes, though.

I'll send the link to the meeting next.

Thanks again -- you are the first round of graduates!

Paul
