[yul-naco] RDA NACO heading list #2

Hello,
This is relatively minor:
For field 370 one uses the form of place name as it would appear as an addition to an authorized access point, i.e., one would use New York, N.Y. for New York City. Does this need to be consistent? It seems the practice in most of the RDA authority records created has been to remove the parentheses instead of using New York (N.Y.) or Paris (France) and insert a comma. If it matters then perhaps Arrecife (Canary Islands) needs to be Arrecife, Canary Islands in 90 and 91.
The examples for 370 are unbracketed:

JMHO, these records are impressive!

Dominique,
It gets weirder. Check this site from one of her publisher http://www.editions-beatitudes.com/f/index.php?sp=livAut&auteur_id=85 , it said she die in 2003.

Dominique,
Regarding your first paragraph, I think what you’ve done is O.K. assuming that you judge the VIAF form to be more likely to be accurate.

Thanks Wheat for your comment on 68 Ponsard, Christine, 1957-2004.
I just realized (I should have noticed before) that there is another problem. My book says she was born in 1956, but VIAF (3 libraries) says 1957. What should I do about this? Use the heading from VIAF Ponsard, Christine, 1957-2004; or use the info on the book Ponsard, Christine, 1956-2004 or show the uncertainty Ponsard, Christine 1956 or 1957-2004 and not worry about the fact that my heading is different from VIAF’s.

110 and 410 – Is this non-standardized capitalization permissible in access points?
I don’t know for sure but 11.2.1.3. says “General Guidelines on Recording Names of Corporate Bodies
When recording a name of a corporate body, apply the general guidelines on recording names given under 8.5. When those guidelines refer to an appendix, apply the additional instructions given in that appendix, as applicable.”
8.5.2 says “Apply the instructions on the capitalization of names of persons, families, and corporate bodies given in Appendix A”
Appendix A (A.2.1) allows for unusual capitalization such as eBay: “For names with unusual capitalization, follow the capitalization of the commonly known form.” And A.4.1 says “Unusual capitalization. For titles with unusual capitalization, follow the capitalization of the title as found on the source of information.” So if that’s the most common form then I supposed it should be recorded as so.
I checked its website and all the contents use only small cap. Can it just be preferred style? When the author’s name appear in the book in all small cap, we still apply capitalization rules.

Looks O.K. But is it better to repeat 374, or simply repeat subfield a when the subfield 2 applies to both?
According to MARC 21 374 “The field is repeated if the person has multiple occupations for different time periods.” So if a person has multiple occupations for the same time period, use repeat subfield a?
68 Ponsard, Christine, 1957-2004
670/2 – Death date typo “2012”? Otherwise looks O.K.
Corrected. I also realized that I recorded the death date in 046 as 200402. But a training slide seem to show it should be recorded as 2004-02.
2nd 670 Typo “d. Feb. 2004” not “d. Feb. 1956”? Does it seem redundant to add this death date info.?
77 Vivicorsi, Bruno
2nd 670. Mix use of French and English i.e “membre of the Commission en Psychologie de Validation ..”
