Steven,
This is fantastic!!!!
Many, many thanks--it will save a tremendous amount of time (and frustration) in not having to bounce back and forth between links in RDA Toolkit for basic information (only to find that the umpteenth link brings you back to where you began--and you still don't have an answer to your query)!
I also took the time to really take a good look at the information you have put up on "Cataloging Tools" under the heading "RDA" and realized that I should definitely have done so earlier, as you once again have targeted the information most often needed (and again, difficult to find) from the infamous Toolkit.
You work is much appreciated, and will certainly go far in making RDA a tad less painful to learn (and remember).
Penny

Subject: [yul-naco] RDA Short Checklists site
For those cataloging senior moments, I started an RDA Short Checklists site. As of now, it consists primarily of PDFs from the LC Training modules released Sept/Oct 2023. For the most part, these are bulleted lists or examples you might find handy for quick look ups in the course of cataloging. Think of it as the beginning of an abridgement (in WEMI terms, a new expression) of the hundreds of training slides you've been expected to absorb over the past year. I also added a link to the site from the RDA Toolkit Local Workflow for Simple Book Cataloging and the Tools and Resources page's RDA section.

Some slide sets still to be explored: expressions (translations), series bridge training, NACO RDA training, maybe one or two of the R documents.
Coming up-- a (not short) checklist for reviewing previously established AACR2 NARs for consistency with RDA.
