[Yale ArchivesSpace] can't save a link to an existing subject

Hi Mary,

Thank you for the follow up.  I would like to propose a partial re-indexing as an attempt to clear this.  This is somewhat disruptive, but does not take the system down.   This process has taken approximately 3 hours in the past.

I am happy to run this at any time today or after hours tonight.

Hi Mary,

I have picked up the ticket and responded in Service Now, but wanted to reach out to you directly.

There were two empty files in the indexer_state directory that I have deleted which should restart indexing. There may be other work necessary, but this should allow for anything new to be indexed properly.

Please let us know if this did not solve your problem and we will continue to troubleshoot.

Hi Mary,

Mike Lotstein reported an indexing problem this morning to enterprise systems, but I don’t know if he’s gotten a reply. This sounds soooooort of like an indexing problem too — I’d definitely encourage you to put in a ticket.
