It looks like the ArchivesSpace servers just went down -- and I just got notified about that myself, so I apologize about not sending something earlier, but I didn’t know University IT was going to be taking them down right now!

Anyhow, University and Library IT are in the process of increasing some of the system resources.  As soon as everything is back up, I'll send a follow-up email.  Hopefully this will increase the responsive of the system, but we're still monitoring the tool to figure out what the bottleneck(s) might be.  Therefore, if you still notice any server time out issues once we're back up and running, please don't hesitate to let us know.

We’ve been getting reports of slow performance on ArchivesSpace (and experiencing it ourselves, too!). Steve DiSorbo in Library IT is actively working toward a solution. Slow tools are such a bummer.
