All,
Just a quick note that it looks like PROD ASpace is still down (and it was down last night, as well). Both TEST and DEV are up, however.
Melissa, do you know if the maintenance is still in progress, or if PROD is down for another reason?
Mark

Hello Everyone,
This maintenance window has been rescheduled to overnight to prevent any disruption to staff. There is no need to refrain from using ArchivesSpace the morning of Monday January 8.
Thank you,
Melissa

Subject: [Yale ArchivesSpace] Notification of downtime for ArchivesSpace
Hello,
YUL's three instances of ArchivesSpace are hosted by Lyrasis. The servers are located in a secure, third-party data center. We have just received notification that there will be some required maintenance performed by the data center staff the morning of Monday January 8, 2018. This will impact all three instances, PROD, TEST and DEV. Lyrasis and Yale do not have control over the determined schedule, although this is the first time in two years of hosting that an outage like this has been planned.
We have been scheduled for the window of 8:30am-11am on Monday January 8. This downtime is anticipated at no more than 30 minutes, but we are unable to know more precisely when that 30 minute cycle will commence, until it begins.
YAMS has decided it is best to have staff refrain from adding/editing in ArchivesSpace during this maintenance window. In addition, any automated routines to sync data between ArchivesSpace and other applications should be temporarily suspended during this maintenance window. The ArchivesSpace staff addon used in Aeon will also not be able to communicate with ArchivesSpace, but it will be able to communicate with Voyager.
We will receive notification when the maintenance officially begins, and we will send out an email at that time, as well as when the systems are back online. Please work with your supervisors and teammates to plan any adjustments to your morning work. If there are any questions, please ask.
Thank you for your understanding, and I hope everyone is having a great start to the new year.
Melissa Wisner
