Good morning, all,
This is a reminder to please be sure, when creating new finding aids, that a) the EAD ID field is filled out AND b) that the EAD Location field is left blank.
The EAD Location field is the field that stores the finding aid handle, and as of January the EAD export service has been creating new handles for anything that's newly published and subsequently writing back that handle to the "EAD Location" field overnight. The ArchivesSpace at Yale: User Manual<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1DI_7YNZy-RcjQ9hpMMbxJEkHFpYndzmDoG3ylOc38BY/edit?usp=sharing> indicates this process, and full instructions and information are here: Archives at Yale: Staff Training: Preparing PDF Creation<https://guides.library.yale.edu/c.php?g=754688&p=5719236>
Here's a screenshot of how the EAD ID and EAD Location fields should look for new collections:

Please let YAMS<https://guides.library.yale.edu/archivesspace/home> know if you have any questions about this, and thank you for following the new procedures.
Best wishes,
Alison
