Sorry, I should’ve taken notice of the previous message 😊.  Sounds like I can assume that the Wednesday morning restart will happen unless I hear otherwise.

As for the Help plugin, my offer still stands to update the text.  I don’t remember what changes were suggested previously, aside from updating this part:

Note that requesting is not enabled for the Divinity School Library, Peabody Museum of Natural History, or the Yale Center for British Art. To request a research visit to view those materials, please contact the repository.

Now, everyone is using Aeon aside from Peabody.

If someone can provide updated text for the Help page (https://archives.yale.edu/help), then I can add that to the Help plugin before the end of the day on Tuesday.  I was also hoping to try out a JavaScript fix for the sidebar, but I doubt that I’ll have time to do that this week after all.

Steelsen, has it been determined that we’ll definitely be doing a restart of PROD this Wednesday morning to pull in updated plugins?

Hi All,

In order to perform some necessary plugin maintenance ArchivesSpace will need to be restarted this Wednesday, 9/11, before 7:30 am.

The following changes will be applied:

  *   Accession Printing Plugin: Production Rollout
  *   Digitization Work Order Plugin: Production Rollout
  *   MARC Export Plugin: Production Rollout
  *   Aeon Requesting Plugin: AUG-requested updates
  *   PUI Help Plugin: Some text changes may be applied pending final approval.

There is no new build being implemented or indexing needed; the restart will therefore result in only a momentary outage.

Please let me know as soon as possible if there are any issues with proceeding with this restart.
