Subject: Cataloger's Desktop 2006 Issue 2 now available
Colleagues:
Cataloger's Desktop 2006 Issue 2 is now available online. A summary of
changes incorporated into the new issue were distributed last week via the
Desktop discussion list. Please let us know via email
<desktop-info at loc.gov> if you experience any difficulties with the new issue.
On a somewhat unrelated note, at the suggestion of a Desktop subscriber
we are now adding links to Cataloger's Desktop from each Desktop Quick Tip
page. The links are embedded in the pages' banner. Clicking the banner
will take you directly to Cataloger's Desktop. This change has been made
in the Bookmarks Quick Tip, and it will be incorporated in all other Quick
Tips as revisions are made. Desktop Quick Tips can be accessed from the
CDS website at
<http://www.loc.gov/cds/desktop/web-faqs.html#Quick_Tips>. If you see
potential training topics that would benefit from Quick Tip coverage,
please contact me directly at <bjoh at loc.gov>.
Thank you very much for your continued support.
Bruce
