Hello All.
Thanks to Toolkit testing, we have discovered a potentially serious Voyager problem.
For some reason, sometimes, when a cataloger is in Torbis the changes happen in Production.
For some reason, sometimes, we strongly suspect that when a cataloger is in Production, the changes might be happening in Torbis.
Please check your cataloging in Orbis, to make sure your work is actually going into the production database.
PLEASE let prodsys at mailman.yale.edu<mailto:prodsys at mailman.yale.edu> know if you catalog a record in Production, but you cannot see your changes in the public OPAC. Please give prodsys the record number, or a screenshot of the record(s).
LITO (systems office) is definitely onto this problem! They are very concerned, and want to resolve it as quickly as possible.
