Hi Steven,
I'd like to call your attention and let catalog staff be aware of the problem when we use Firefox and conduct a LC or a local call number search. If you have a record open, and click on either previous or next, you may or may not get the actual previous or next record. Jerry Anne and I conducted the same search with IE that both previous and next function worked well. We also did testing with either Firefox or IE plus Subject/Title/Keyword search and there was no such problem. We confirmed this is a only Firefox+ (Local & LC) call number search problem.
Thanks,
Ping

There is a different problem that I have noticed with the OPAC. If you have a record open, and click on either previous or next, you may or may not get the actual previous or next record. For example:
I am looking at the record for the title, Tsu a nayem lebn, I click on previous and sometimes I get the record for Elṭere Yidishe liṭeraṭur (one record before previous) and sometimes I get the record for Tanakhishe yerushe (the actual previous record). The same sort of thing happens when I click on next. I have not seen any kind of pattern as to when previous and next take me to the actual previous or next record, and when it takes me to a nearby record, usually off by 1 record.
Jerry Anne
