[Yulcat-l] New SFX menu ready for review

Hi all,

There has been some work developing an improved SFX menu.

The draft SFX menu is ready for testing and I thought you'd like to see it and maybe test it out with a few titles. If you have comments, you can send them to me, and I'll pass them on to the Usability Group.

Kalee Sprague has set up the failover Metalib to point to the new menu.  

'Find Article' search results at http://exlib3.library.yale.edu:8332/V contain the new small graphic for Yale Links (still needs to be sized appropriately, but good enough for now).  

Clicking on Yale Links will take you to the new menu.

Please follow the links in the menu. Use a variety of test titles.  You can also compare the menu with the production SFX menu by doing the same search in production Metalib at http://databases.library.yale.edu:8331/V and clicking on the Yale Links button there.  You can then display the production SFX menu and the new SFX menu side-by-side for comparison.  Let me know if you see any differences that don't seem to be desired!

Known problems so far - the Endnote reference is only showing up occasionally, instead of always displaying (this is true in the production SFX menu as well).  There also seems to be a header display issue in Firefox on the MAC.
