[Yulcat-l] OCLC Exports on Hold

Hi all!!

We are back in business with OCLC Exports and Reloads. I just reloaded corrected records with OCLC MR and IR numbers from the beginning of the month. We will send another, probably larger than usual batch next Tuesday.

Hello colleagues,

The OCLC weekly export process, whereby we send full-level cataloging to OCLC for inclusion in Worldcat and for reloading Master (079A tag) and Institutional (035A tag) record numbers from OCLC into those same records, is currently paused.

OCLC noticed an error with the processing of our records sent on the 15th of October. No exports have been sent since that time until the problem is resolved.

The last successfully completed roundtrip of records from Orbis to OCLC and back occurred with the batch of records sent on Tuesday October 8th. Anything that is supposed to go after that date is on hold right now.

We will let you know when OCLC has corrected the error and given us the green light to send our records again.
